About Danny King
Danny King is an expert in investigating complex & controversial use of force.
He spent 18 years on the road in Nevada’s second largest city— Henderson, NV. Henderson is intertwined with Las Vegas.
He has spent half of his career investigating, analyzing, and training others on the most critical aspect of modern policing:
Use of Force
He also spent the last 8 years representing officers as a peer advocate & force expert in OIS’ and internal investigations of use of force.
As a investigator, Danny has reviewed over a thousand real life use of force incidents involving Empty Hands, Taser, K9, Less Lethal Launchers, OC, and Deadly Force.

Danny King has worked as a Patrol Officer, K9 Handler (Patrol, Narcotics, SWAT), Problem Solving/ Street Crimes Detective, and In-Service Training Officer, Force Investigator, Officer In Charge.
Since 2012 he has specialized in the Use of Force Training and Analysis Unit of his agency where he has been responsible for conducting administrative investigations into Officer Involved Shootings, Uses of Force, and Critical Incidents. The reviews focus on the facts, legal aspects, tactics, policies, training and lessons learned from the incident. These findings are used to better the officer, department and training.
Danny was a Use of Force, Instructor Development, Excited Delirium, Less Lethal Impact Munitions and Master Taser Instructor. He is also a firearms trainer for his department. Danny is Force Science Analyst, and Advanced Force Science Specialist.
He has twice been awarded his agencies Medal of Valor. Danny was the Nevada VFW Officer of the Year for 2000, and his agencies Special Unit Officer for 2014.
Prior to becoming a police officer, Danny was in the US Army for 5 years as a Combat and Flight Medic.
